7. How to find the best tariffs for a ticket?
Please find bellow some councils to follow in order to find the best tariffs:
- It is very important to spend the night of Saturday to Sunday at destination - this is the Sunday rule
- It's better for you to buy a return ticket ( it is more cheaper than an one way ticket)
- It is recommended to buy your ticket in advance (there are special rates for buying tickets with 21 or 14 or 7 days in advance)
- Try to test several airports, maybe there are different rates
- Avoid the periods of great departures (weekends, Christmas, holidays of summer, public holidays) to benefit from the tariffs low-season
- We also advise you to attentively look at the restrictions relative to each flight. In a word: the more flexible your dates of voyage are, plus your chances to find an excellent tariff are large.
8. What is the baggage weight policy
Passengers are permitted to take along a specific quantity of baggage on all flights. The following limitations are important to know:
Passengers traveling Economy Class can take along 20 kg (44 lbs) without extra charges. Passengers traveling Business Class / Europe Select are allowed to take along 30 kg (66 lbs). These weight restrictions apply to all flights to and from all countries except for the United States and Canada.
On flights to and from the United States and Canada, all passengers can take along two items of baggage at no extra cost. The two items are allowed to be no more than 158 cm in size each (length + width + height). The maximum weight allowance is 32 kg (70 lbs) per item of baggage.
There are some exceptions to the baggage allowance on a number of other flights. The allowance box to the right on your ticket indicates whether the allowance is in items of baggage (2PC) or a maximum weight (KG).
You are allowed to take hand baggage on board on all flights: - One carry-on bag, no larger than 55 × 35 × 25 cm and no heavier than 10 kg (22 lbs). - An overcoat/blanket, umbrella/walking stick, a purse, a camera bag, and an acceptable amount of reading material.
In addition to the hand baggage listed above, Business Class and Europe Select passengers are allowed to take along: - a garment bag (no more than 20 cm deep, weighing no more than 8 kg/17.5 lbs) or a briefcase (no more than 20 cm deep, weighing no more than 8 kg/17.5 lbs). You have to store hand baggage under the chair or in the baggage compartments above the chairs. Please note that it is not allowed to have pocketknives, scissors or other sharp items in your hand baggage. The airline cannot be held liable for any missing security items taken from you before departure.
If you are traveling with children under the age of 2 who are flying for 10% of the normal rate, you are allowed to bring along a collapsible stroller and an extra item of hand baggage, no larger than 55 " 35 " 25 cm and weighing no more than 10 kg (22 lbs). The collapsible stroller (umbrella model) must fit under the seat or in the airplane's baggage compartments.
